Well, firstly -

Here's a little peek into why Ethical Creatives was started.
In Founder, Tamasin's own words:
"Honestly, I’ve always felt like a round peg — maybe a bit of a squiggly one, in a world full of square holes.
Even as a child, it was obvious to me: all beings — humans, animals, the planet (yes) — deserve care and love. Simple as.
But growing up, going through school, uni, work — even in the arts — I saw how often the system strives to cage, to crush people to put up, shut up.
Maybe it’s because I came to performance through my activist punk band, or maybe it's because I'm neurodivergent myself with the 'justice gene' - who knows? But whatever the reason, I’ve always believed that every body deserves respect — and every spirit inside that fleshy vehicle too.
Yet time and again, people who speak up — get shut down.
And it’s not just humans. Trillions of non-human beings suffer too.
They’re not voiceless.
Unheard, is not the same as voiceless. Their desperate wails and cries are loud and definite. They're ignored for our selfish convenience.
They endure a so-called 'life', of shocking violence - to be a casual meal.
We do not hear their voices. Or their stories.
We cancel their suffering from our experience.
Do we want to know about other humans' or non-humans' suffering?
Do we ignore others' cries, pleas because we feel helpless? We believe we cannot change it?
Or do we ignore it as we're entitled and we can deny others' agency over their own bodies, and lives?
We must ask ourselves, are we nice people, if we cause that, pay for that?
These are the sorts of questions we ask ourselves here are at Ethical Creatives.
We work on not judging our past mis-takes.
But we do try to be courageous enough to identify, acknowledge and evaluate them with view to solving those darker behaviours and reclaiming our original child-like beauty, where our inherent inborn Light, Love and Compassion can once again reign supreme.
We all need a safe space to do that. It can be a very vulnerable state to be in. To be that honest with ourselves and others.
We aim to create a place to retreat to, a group where we can discuss, explore and reflect, an oasis for neurodivergent, LGBTQIA+, activists & artists.
A space where we can own the truth of how we've lived, live, and journey together to support each other, and glocal communities in Positive change.
A space to remember how to be our best, bravest, kindest and most Ethical Creative selves.
Here we gather, so that Everywhere we can

Thou Art Love
Art seeks not praise, nor courts the fleeting like,
Art stands as Truth when suffering hearts implore;
We hear the cries that rise through blackest night,
The lost, the poor, the wounded, and abhorred.
We do not turn away; we breach once more.
We blaze Love’s torch against the endless dark;
Though one small deed seems feeble, ah, sure,
Yet a thousand glints explode Heaven’s spark.
Not for ourselves alone this flame we bear,
But for each soul that breathes beneath the sky
Upon our sapphire-emerald orb, we dare
To diamond sparkle our exalted Light
Infinite Love ascends and claims its crown—
Eternal Love endures, casts tyrants down.
Glorious Love leads as Love can withstand—
